How can you help : Give the gift of sight

Gift of sight through eye donation is a personal decision.

Once you make the decision it is best to let family know of your decision.

Pledge your eyes for donation and carry the eye donor card on person.

The pledge form by itself is not a legal document for eye donation in India; the final decision rests on your family members/ your next of kin to donate eyes. Your next-of-kin will have to contact the nearest eye bank and give their consent to donate your eyes.

Apart from pledging your own eyes, you can help drushti daan eye bank and other eye banks by motivating your family and close friends to do the same.

At the time of any death help and motivate the family to donate the eyes of their dear ones or if pledged earlier to carry through their pledge.
